Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in addressing technical issues and delivering high-quality customer service
  • Respond to customer questions and escalate issues as required
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues and communicate with internal resources to resolve challenging issues
  • Configure, deploy, troubleshoot and provide hardware and software support for typical hardware and applications used in small and medium businesses.
  • Enter accurate information in the ticketing software solution used by the company and follow up as needed
  • Communicate effectively with customers and members of the Surrogate team.
  • Work independently and, where necessary, draw on internal resources to seek input on questions, problems, or issue clarification
  • Plan, prioritize and organize workload
  • Commitment to building strong customer relationships
  • Travel independently to client locations

Preferred Credentials and Additional Skills

  • You have strong interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • You possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related technical field. However, experience counts. If you have equivalent experience, we want to hear from you.
  • Ability and interest in growing as an IT professional.
  • Experience performing moderately complex installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of networked devices


The successful candidate will:
